On the weekend of 10th & 11th November we celebrated the church’s 171st anniversary. Our guest speaker was Pastor Ed Collier of Sheffield and he spoke on Saturday afternoon on Matthew 16 v 13-27 about Truths about the Church;- The Church belongs to Jesus;- The Church was built by Jesus; – The Church is built on the truth about Jesus revealed to the disciples; – The building of Jesus’ Church can not be stopped.
Pastor Ed Collier also took both Sunday services on November 11th being Armistice Day. Ed preached on Judges 7 in the morning ‘Out of weakness made strong’ showing how God uses the least of us and Judges 8 in the evening ‘Finishing Well’ explaining how finishing well is tough.
