Continuing our interest in Romania, and following the establishment of numerous contacts with Romanian people in Bristol, a Romanian fellowship was started in February 2011 as a new ministry of ours.
Meetings, initially to be held once a month on Sunday afternoons, are held in the Romanian language and consist of singing, testimonies, preaching from the Bible during the first hour.
This is followed by an opportunity for informal discussion and fellowship in the second hour, during which we hope to offer practical support to those in attendance.
This ministry is lead by Cornel Pelea, a Romanian man who has worked in the United Kingdom since January 2007. He is assisted by Adrian Carey-Jones, our Church Worker.
This is a new venture for us at Buckingham, and we seek the Lord’s blessing as we invite all Romanians to join our new fellowship to hear about and celebrate the work of or Lord Jesus Christ.
