Young People’s Bible Studies

One Saturday per month, 7.15-9.15pmYPBS (1)

We invite all young people to join our Young People’s Bible Study group. The group is aged at those aged 15 and older. We have people ranging from those studying their GCSEs to those studying for their degree and older. We meet in a home for a time of Bible Study and discussion at 7:15 one Saturday evening per month as announced.

The aim of the meeting is to develop the Biblical understanding of the young adults of the church and helping them to grow in their faith. This time of discipleship involves covering topics and issues relevant to their lives, witheach study usually led by John Norris who has many years of experience of Youth Work. Some of the topics we have studied together are; ‘The Sermon on the Mount’, ‘Spiritual Gifts’ and ‘Dealing with Differences’.

YPBS (4)We at Buckingham are very keen to encourage our young people into areas of ministry that will help them to develop the gifts God has given them. We seek to ensure our YP meetings play a key role in facilitating this. We’d love for you to come along and join us for one of our studies. If you have any questions speak to John Norris.

In addition to meeting together to study the Bible, we meet together regularly for Film Nights and other social events. This meeting hopes to supplement the Young People’s Bible Studies by deepening fellowship amongst the youth of the church, as we seek to grow together as believers.
